Let's take a jaunt through Wonderland, aka the annual Allen family Halloween festivities.
The Cheshire Cat presided over the party, of course. All decorations (which were many and Wonderland-esque) were created by the ever talented Melissa, my party planning cousin (in-law).
The centerpiece of the decor was a topsy turvy Alice themed cake. This was made entirely by my sister in-law Angela.
(She has more pictures on her blog)
The backside. I love that there was tea in the teacup. Also the hat was the best.
Here we see the table decorations including clocks, stacks of cups and playing cards.
All of which were spit spot perfect.
If I were to wax philosophical for a moment I would say: isn't this the sign post of life?
But instead I will just say, perfect Alice sign.
It would not be a real Alice party without croquet in the garden, would it?
I just wish we had red paint and paintbrushes...that would have been a fun activity.
Witches! Cones for the hat, licorice for the hair. I wish that I could try this in real life.
That would be interesting at the very least.
Close up of the table decorations. They were seriously so perfect and it makes me want to do a party every day of the year. But only Alice themed because I don't want to actually make any decorations.
My mother is literally, really literally, addicted to Pinterest. She is on it as I type this in fact. This little man was one of her finds. I do have to say though, she actually makes the things she sees on there. That's more than me.

I would just like to clarify i made the man from Pinterest, and someone eat his feet before you took the picture. They were broccoli.
