140 miles to the grand canyon.

Two weeks ago I found myself in St. George with no memory of how or why I was there.
Joke, it was Alysa Ann Angel Archer's birthday.
She decided to go hiking as a way of celebration and after a breakfast at Cracker Barrel (because it is Miley Cyrus' favorite restaurant I hear) we drove off to Zions.
But on the way we made a minor detour because the sign said only 140 miles to the Grand Canyon.
So we laughed the entire way and and listened to such classics as Chris Brown and BSB.
We then hiked. We slept. We drove. We saw. Veni Vidi Vici and all that jazz.
So luckily for us the day we arrived was the first day the park was open. Thus, there weren't many tourists there yet. We did a great job of filling in for them. Konnichiwa aka good afternoon!
Don't tell anyone (really, don't) but maybe my favorite part of the Grand Canyon was this. Doesn't this picture have so much something behind it?
I know that when you look at this you think, "I want to be their friend!" Well, it's actually quite lucrative. Aly's Mom pays me $6 a day, and Liz's pays me $6.50.
The hardest thing for me to accept was the chain fence keeping me away from such greatness, and certain death. Don't they know that great happiness comes with great risk? Take down the fence, I say.
I didn't get the memo that we were supposed to wear shorts. But I did get the white-t and chaco memo so they accepted me.
Holy Grand Canyon Batman!
Can you say: beautiful sunset? Can you see the beautiful sunset? Can you taste the beautiful sunset?

Congratulations you made it! I do love my photos of the Grand Canyon. Thank you for visiting and please, come again!

This made me happy.
But also sad, because I had to find out that my mom pays you to be my friend. Am I not even worth minimum wage?
