and...because she's cute.
There are some days that remind you of all of the good that is in your life.
Jonathan and Melissa's wedding reminded me how much I love my family, friends and neighbors.
Melissa has been there for me through everything.
We're cousins and she lives down the street so we were obligated to be best friends,
but I would have chosen her even if we weren't related.
As I reflect back on my life and try to come up with "my happiest memory" or perhaps the "funnest time ever" I come up with a slew of memories. All of them involve my family, and most especially Melissa.
That perfect trip to Hawaii, or flying to Cali to "work in the school with Bev," or perhaps the Christmas when all we did was play LOTR 3 on the playstation.
In the past we've had our disagreements, there have been {many} tears shed and feelings hurt. But looking back on my life, those unhappy times are completely overruled and outnumbered by the good.
So, what I'm getting at is their wedding was great.
It reminded me that my life has been great.
Melissa is great.
Jonathan is great.
They are married,
and that is great.
ps their reception was gorgeous and I firmly believe that melissa has spent most of her life prepping to be a bride because she was flawless.
