day 3: 'afternoon-time'

Random Egyptians (yes, that is what a person who lives in Egypt is) would jump in our pictures for "baksheesh" or a tip. We obviously didn't want him there and so this picture is super awkward.

Becca, me and Lydia on the Nile.

We tooka Faluka from our Hotel (which was kind of high class-what I'm used to) to the other side of the Nile. What a thrill ride, you know? With all of the wind we were moving at maybe a rate of 1 MPH, if that. Scared me silly.

Now this really did scare me silly. Apparently I have a serious dislike for animals that carry humans. Like camels. Plus I was really high. Plus my guide didn't speak english. But I conquered that camel, whatever his name was, and I almost enjoyed it. And maybe I'll almost enjoy it again
.
I love Egypt and the Nile and I show it by putting my fingers in a heart shape as the sun is setting. So the same way most Eyptians do.
