or, what I do and don't believe.
I do not believe in doing school assignments in a timely manner. However, this doesn't concern me as I still believe in getting them done, just rather hastily.
I do not believe in waking up before 7:30 o'clock, yet I scheduled my next dentist appointment for 7 AM. Maybe I will luck out and it will actually end up being 7 PM and all that banter about waking up early was just confusion on the part of the receptionist.
I do not believe in answering text messages, or really any messages of any kind, unless I am feeling like it. This is something that I am consciously trying to change and am subconsciously rebelling against. Believe me, it's not your text-it's me.
I do believe in driving until my gas light comes on and then continuing to drive it for another day until it goes down to one notch and I have a continual panic attack until the pump is in the process of fueling my car. Every second before that is purest anxiety.
I do not believe in going to the gym before 10 o'clock at night. Who would voluntarily choose to attend the gym when every machine that exists is in use and you have to awkwardly stand in the back and wait?
I do believe in letting children climb on me, even if they pull my hair and step on my stomach. I especially believe in letting them climb my legs with dirty shoes and do back flips.
I do believe in going to school, and learning for myself, not for the remote possibility that my husband dies or cannot earn a proper living, but for my own knowledge and need. Also, I do believe that if I hear someone use that "just in case" rationality again I shall speak to them with less calmness than I would like. Do it for you, not for the "perhaps I'll need this someday" money.
I do not believe in taking the random clutter out of my car. Usually, this is a blessing as I can (and do) forget my coat in the morning because I have one in my trunk. I also have a blanket, pillow, placemat, cups and plastic forks back there.

So, I believe that sometimes reading a book is more important than doing laundry. That dashing off to school is more important than finishing work notes. I believe that everyone should run, not walk, to comfort a hurt child. And I believe that I will not always have a messy room.

Love you. Love your blog. Love your quirky ways. I believe in some of these same things like babies and jewelry, not waking up before 7:30 and not doing assignments in a timely manner. Guess that is why we have been bestos since 2nd grade.
I came here for my MRS degree.
I love you too. And I love your blog. Since we're in the same city lets play, okay? Probably with Katie and Tyson too.
I heard that bit about "just in case" a few weeks ago in Relief Society and it was all I could do to not scream at the top of my lungs. Probably because my education has just been the best thing about life for me, it's made me myself and filled me up so much, you know? Of course you do.
