I travelled to Reno for my bestfriendroommatefromjeruloveofmylife Mandy's farewell.
I took my bestfriendsoulmate Sydney her fiance Spencer and a boy named Jeff.
We saw the Truckee river: it seemed swift, “it doesn’t stop” and I wanted to swim in it.
We went into the Circus Circus: it was smoky, and gambly.
We watched at the National Bowling Center: I loved the team from LA.
We passed crazy drunks dressed up: Jar Jar Binx and his entourage.
We saw a great Walgreens: it is on a bridge and shilvy (aka shiny and silver).
We walked through a forest: there were 6 trees altogether.
We took pictures: with a disposable camera.
We ate some fro-yo, obv
We almost joined a wedding party: a fierce couple with hot pink bridesmaid dresses.
We stopped by the squaw peak of Reno.
We took a Sunday drive to Lake Tahoe and dipped our pinkies in the water.
And we said goodbye.
It was such a wonderful weekend.
This is an indian monument and it is crazy. It is a lot of strange objects glued together in a house-like form. Sorry about the barbed wire-we couldn't get too close.
Native american Spirits and such. {really though, the sign out front warned: enter at own risk}
You may wonder why I took this picture. I did for a second too, but there is a peacock there. {by the yellow/black post}
Best Jeru friends. Just standing by a classy casino, because we are classy.
When you go to Reno what is the one place everyone knows you must hit up? The Apple store to play with the iPad.

I love disposable cameras. They remind me of EFY and girl's camp.
You got some grrrreat ones. How'd the Gateway fountains one turn out?
My family owned a house in Truckee for a looong time, so I spent the majority of my summers and vacations there. I know exactly what you mean about the Truckee river, Circus Circus, crazy drunks, that one Walgreens on the bridge, forest, Lake Tahoe, squaw peak of Reno... makes me smile :)
